Canadian Rangers skin a caribou approximately 10 kilometres from their base camp north of the Inuit Hamlet of Naujaat, Nunavut. Every part of the animal is used and shared with fellow Rangers. The parts of the animal that are not used are buried under rocks in a ceremony as respect to the animal.
