A small rock weir holds fish trapped and caught by Inuit Rangers from fishing inland on a river during the summer when the rivers are ice free just outside the community of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. Weirs created with rocks have been used as natural ways of trapping fish for centuries in this region and are a food source in the summer on the Tundra.
