ASBESTOS

Suffering from asbestosis and having a hard time breathing 66-year-old Mangabhai Patel is seen walking to the local temple in Ahmedabad, India. He worked for 37 years at the Ahmedabad Electric Company (AEC) and was exposed to asbestos and has been diagnosed with Asbestosis. He is constantly gasping for air due to his severely damaged lungs. He can only walk short distances before he is nearly incapacitated from the disease which causes difficulty in breathing. After 10 years of trying to get compensation, an out of court settlement of approximately $4000.00 dollars will be paid to him in compensation.
