Sep 11, 2009 - Golestan, Farah Province, Afghanistan - Under fire from insurgents US Marines from the 2nd MEB of the 2/3 Marines Fox Company fight their way out of a valley in the Buji Bast Pass (aka Bhuji Bast) in Golestan, Farah Province, after several days of insurgent attacks, ambushes and roadside bombs. US Marines have been deadlocked in a bitter counterinsurgency campaign and conflict with insurgents using mainly Improvise Explosive Devices (IED's).
